your questions answered:
Q:

Do you have to plug-in a hybrid vehicle?

A: No, it gets the power from the “synergy drive” that regenerates from the braking system! There is near zero emissions from the vehicle that reduces pollution while resulting in greater gas mileage. Toyota Prius is the number one selling hybrid on the market.
Q:

What should I know about buying a used car?

A: Make sure to check out the available information online to see that the details match with the car you come to look at. Ask for the vehicle’s history and service report. Take the car for at least 20 minutes on the test drive. Ask questions about the features on the car to check the working status. Be sure double check spare tire and owner’s manuals.

Q:

Do people really buy cars online?

A: Absolutely! Online is a great way to purchase a vehicle to save time and money. You can research your vehicle, apply for financing, and schedule an appointment without leaving home! Just make sure you get accurate information and compare a few dealers. Many try and add a fee or charge in addition to the quote. Be sure to get an accurate “out the door” figure. Many third party sites like Edmunds.com and Cars.com are very helpful with some comparison information on performance and features. Bring information to the dealer to make sure nothing changes from what was discussed online with the sales representative.
Q:

What else do I need to consider when buying a brand new car?

A: Besides that car, price, etc, many other factors are available for you to consider. Be sure to ask about an extended service contract to save on potential maintenance and repairs. There is GAP insurance to protect against possible payoff deficiencies if a car is ever deemed a total loss. There are interior and paint protection as well. Many products are offered by dealers that many do not know about. Be sure to get things that are important to YOU not THEM!!
Q:

Do I need to get my oil changes done at the dealer?

A: It is not absolutely necessary to get it done at a dealer. However, it is the best idea to have someone that specializes in the make that you have to do the work on it. Many of the corner lot places take in any make and model and may not be as familiar with some of the details on all of the cars. Some examples would be to reset a maintenance-required light, replacing a drain plug gasket, using a filter that had a catch valve not permitting oil to drain out of the engine. Some things like that to consider rather than saving $5 would be a good idea.
